I have a main thread (link below) for the project I am working on but I have a quick question I am hoping someone can answer. I have done axle over spring swaps front and rear. Also had a custom set of springs made for the back. Now the back sits a tad bit low. I can't lower the front anymore without a front c-notch. Looking to raise the back. Even if it is raised too high, I can bring it back down with blocks. Worked on it a bit yesterday and had an idea of flipping the rear shackle hangers to see how much it raises. I actually like the height because I can brink it down to the height with a planed block to adjust the pinon angle at the same time.
My question is if anyone has done this and will I have clearance under the bed?
It might clear, there are rails that support the bed and it just depends where it lands. As long as the rail doesn't land directly on the shackle, you should be good to go. You should be able to tell by taking some measurements on the bed.
