Clutch fan question
Hey guys so originally when my friend helped me put my engine in and we used a clutch mechanical fan. It’s was put on backwards blowing air on the engine and not on the rad. Here is my question would it work better pulling air through the radiator and blowing on the engine or pushing air through the radiator away from the engine? I have done it both ways and it seemed to work better blowing on the engine and not the rad. Is it a fluke?

It is supposed to have a shroud that pulls air through the radiator, not pushes. If it pushes then when driving down the road, the air from the induction of headwind will be fighting the fan, rendering the fan counter productive.
