Yes, but that must be connected as the lower hose that goes into the coolant pump. Not the upper hose like you have it.

Hahaha. Ok, didn't see that. Good to go. But it would be much better if the pump had a flooded suction.
I don’t think I will run it with the garden hose very long if at all.
I just didn’t want to hook into a brand new radiator and fill it full of debris.
once I get a few gallons of water through the block and it looks pretty clean I will hook up the radiator and run normally.
