Which engine do you want to sell? It seems like you've had pretty good luck with Ebay..........

Why not just buy the right alt bracket for it..? Seems like it would've saved you time and money and be done correctly.

I want to sell the ‘47 (not the blue engine)
with a bell housing, trans, and torque tube.
Ebay seems to be a good option, just wondering if there’s better.

Try selling it within the FTE family. If it runs well and is priced right, you will sell it. Location is key. A well worded advertisement on CL will draw attention from more than a local area. I have nothing against Ebay.

I am not sure you really need two belts on the alternator. MOPAR used the dual belt setup when running AC. The dual belts ran from the crank up to the AC compressor and then to the alternator. The alternator was used to adjust the tension. You can find a single belt pulley for the MOPAR alternator or just run one belt and leave the second slot empty.

I think you could run a single belt, crank to alternator to water pump back to crank.

The issue was getting the crank and water pump pulleys aligned. The darn waterpump and pulley was like looking for gold, not expensive, just hard to find.
I wanted to use an alternator and figured I could make it all work.

Personally, I don't think most people will care for it because it doesn't look "factory". Might be a hard sell, but I think it looks unique and shows ingenuity.

I think it might burn up the bearing in the alternator....

I hope not, but I cannot understand why it would.
Other than the second pulley being further away from the bearing and subject
to what is a longer lever arm.

A single belt system running on 3 pulleys has the same belt geometry as my
conglomeration.

$10 for pvc parts
I looked for some way to flush the block.

Can I run the engine using the hose for cooling?

Yes, but that must be connected as the lower hose that goes into the coolant pump. Not the upper hose like you have it.
