My dumb*** managed to drop a 9mm socket into the intake plenum (to the left of fuel bowl)
will this damage a valve? Any trick to getting stuff out? Magnet will not work, and do not have access to borescope

Is it driver or passenger side? If driver turbo removal is a must, passenger side theres only one bolt close to the HPOP the very bottom front that all you have to do is lossen enough where the intake plenum can slide out.
Might as well remove them both and re seal them if you havent, they are prone to leak after so many years of cooling and heating cycles, only use Motorcraft or international sealant for this task.
