Great machine. Had one in the Carriage, and new in the Bighorn.

Have had two Splindide Ariston washers. Threw the first one away after the control board went bad. The second one just threw a code that said the eeprom is incompatible. Really? Called the company and they said that the control board is bad. Another boat anchor. Looking for a new washer--anything but Splendide. Anything.

It looked similar to mine, and that without the w/d actually installed, it has a clothes rod across the top for hanging clothes and is just another section of the closet. In my cardinal with the w/d installed, they remove the rack, and install bracing across the top for the dryer. both appliances are smaller than normal home ones, and fit the space perfectly. they actually have brackets that attach the washer and dryer to make them one unit so to speak. Washer on the bottom, dryer stacked on top.

I'm sure you fully understand, I just didnt want you to artifically limit your choices if there was a clothes rod across the top where the dryer would be.
Thanks for taking the time. No ours isn't floor to ceiling. And yes I plan on taking out the rod. If I took out the panel above the rod then it would be a short floor to,ceiling closet. Will take picture of it tomorrow

We have the Splendide Ariston ARWXF129W washer and TVM63X dryer. Full timing two years, zero issues, completely satisfied, and have only used laundromat twice in order to get it all done at once. We usually run loads about every three days if we have hookups.

In our previous Montana we had the combined Splendide washer/dryer and it took f o r e v e r to do one load. Would not work for us full timing.

Splendide it is then! Or do like we do and just use the park laundry. Our 5th literally doesn't have a spot for one

Agree with you Dave, and now see what you are talking about. So yea, a vented Splendide is probably your best choice! The trick, if your manufacturer didnt indicate where the vent should be drilled, is to find the spot with nothing behind it. You might call/email to see if they can tell you where the vent should be cut.
