Help! I have a couple issues.

Ok 1st, my hvac only blows out of the defroster, I know this is a vacuum problem, I also know I have to get a vac pump before I even attempt to find the leak, my question on this is on the connections behind the glove box, how many lines are coming from the motor, on mine it's looks to be 2 coming from underneath the cabin filter, also how many lines are there total in the big connector, there's slots for 6 but I have 5 same goes for the connector upstream before the connector slots for 3 but I only have 2.

2nd, my passanger window quit working, how to I narrow down a motor issue or switch issue with a multi meter? I tried to test for voltage but I can't seem to get any, then I test for voltage on a switch that I know works and has power and still none, so that tells me the problem is me. Any help would be appreciated.
Oh ya and how loud is the vacuum pump? Should it run kinda quiet or is it really noisy?

I'm not wading into the hose routing but maybe this will get you started on the window. You need a helper or clamps on the multi-meter leads so your hands are free. With the good window rolled 1/2 down, find - and + to the switch when key is on. Move leads to other poles and operate switch. When switch is pushed you will see 12 volts ,push switch other direction and polarity will reverse. The motor reverses direction when polarity is reversed. Make notes of position and/or colors of poles for compairison to dead window switch.

Update, I put 12v to the motor directly using a little engineering and nothing happens so I'l have to assume the motor is bad, I still can' seem to get any voltage in the connector which is befuddling, I did managed to get the vacuum problem fixed, went to harbor freight and bought a vac pump for 25 bucks, isolated the vac system and found the leak was on a line at the pump itself, swapped the old lines out and bam it works.

Remember, there's a trick switch on the regulator that interrupt's voltage when window is 100% up or down. The operating window is your friend.

On the regulator, just follow the wires. It stop's current when window reaches 100% and down. Otherwise, the motor would melt when your three year old kept on pushing switch.

Ok maybe I should have asked where the regulator is first lol. Is it in the door? Or somewhere else?

The window regulator is the mechanical part of the system that lifts/lowers the window evenly. The linkage if you will..

Mine has the same configuration. I think in 02 and up models Ford put a kick plate to protect these lines as they were having issues with passenger's feet kicking them.
