1999 F250SD 7.3l, Driver window will go down but seems to lack the amperage on the up side, have 12+ volts but when under load drops to 2 volts. Everything else works fine, tried a new window motor with the same results. Anyone have any ideas??????

If the voltage is 12 volts going down, but drops to 2 volts when trying to go up, you have a bad connection somewhere between the switch and the motor. All the switch does to reverse direction of the motor is reverse the polarity of the 2 wires when going up or down, but it uses the same 2 wires to go up and down, so I would say that the switch is bad internally.
Rongold, I agree with the bad connection, I have disassembled the window switch down to the small copper contacts and they seem to be getting as good of contact as the rest. I am sure that the window switch will be the most expensive part in this system and was hoping that there may be some other connection somewhere that could be the culprit.
