Ok, what is the real truth about offset vs non-offset front leveling kits? I have a 2007 FX4 reg cab flareside. I want it level without problems. Comments please? The more comments, the better I'll feel. Thanks.
the offset only hleps prevent the upper control arm from hittinf the coil spring. as far as being truly level, sometimes it is a gamble. you can take 2 identical trucks, install identical leveling kits, and get different results. most people are the happiest with the 2" kit. if you get the 2.5", then you will most likely want to also look into something for the rear, such as an add-a-leaf, or bigger block, or air bags. how often do you tow or haul stuff? a 2.5" kit without any mods in the back and tows a lot, will definately appear nose up a lot.
