it took about a week for mine to come on after swapping wheels and I had to drive probably 40 miles. Hopefully it stays off for you! I just need to make an appointment to get 1 faulty sensor swapped out to fix my issue.
all but the passenger side rear will learn to the truck.
I hope so too but you are not giving me a warm and fuzzy feeling lol. I will keep tabs, if it comes on I will run it down and let the dealer relearn it. Time will tell. Thanks for the info.
I also have a '15 Mustang GT and the TPS sensors are "self-learning". I ordered a set of aftermarket wheels/tires, pre-mounted with Ford OEM sensors and all I did was take the old wheels/tires off and put the new ones on.....never saw a TPS light and the TPS screen shows the tire pressures. No "procedure" of any kind required.
I had read that the SD trucks had a different TPS logic.....maybe not??
All TPMS will fail. The batteries only last about 5 to 8 years. You cannot just replace the batteries you have to replace the whole unit. If the truck gets really cold it will destroy the batteries. I drove for decades without this system and I wish I could just turn TPMS off. Just another thing to break that they can charge you for.
I just used Forscan to change my range to something like 40-80psi. My aftermarket 35's have a Max psi of 65, I run them at 45f 40r. Rides so so so much better and I only have to deal with a tpms light if I have an actual flat. Best way to use tpms imo.
nbayless36....you were correct, about 100 miles later, I get the dreaded yellow light. Looks like a trip to the dealer. I thought I had it whooped lol.
Yellow light? You mean the low pressure indicator?
Are you going to change your spare to 20"?
I got a "TPMS sensor failure" then yellow low tire light came on. When I go to my tire pressure screen, it shows blanks. Called dealer, its as expected, they will have to wipe my old sensors off and relearn my new ones, the procedure in the manual I will go ahead and tell you don't work so go ahead and plan on a dealer trip. I guess I could have removed my old ones and put them in this new set but its alot cheaper and easier just to relearn the new ones. No, Im not going to change the spare.

If I did not want all the gauges and information, I would have ordered an XL version
My XL has trans temp, oil pressure, oil temperature (when selected) water temperature, and TPMS with and without a trailer behind me. And roll up windows, manual seats, and no clicker for the locks. Perfect.
I do not get a massage or an air conditioned *** from my seat.
But I do love my TRUCK.
I don't mind the idea of having a warning from the TPMS when a tire is getting low before it's flat. To me that is a good thing. What I do not like is a faulty system. Only thing I have gotten out of mine so far is a low tire warning on the front right after driving for 4 hours. Emergency exist just revealed a fault in the sender. Same thing happen on return trip faulty signal from front right. Again after 4 hours of driving. I never received another fault driving locally until yesterday - lol. Front right sender completely and suddenly shut down. Time for dealer visit. 11k on truck.
What is the dpf% screen?
Did you get the speedometer recalibrated for the 20" wheels?
DPF% tells you when the DPF is full and maybe in regen, it was a freebie and he was already in there, I have an Edge monitor so it doesn't matter. No I did not have it recalibrated, they are only 3/4" taller, shouldn't be far enough off to matter. Did you get your wheels put on yet?
