Hey, all. Did some more looking over of my '85 4.9 F150 today. Seems most of the parts are there for the feedback system, just unhooked or missing sections of vacuum line. Starting at the firewall, there are 3 connectors. All single spade, one brown, one heavy gauge and yellow, and one green.
Then over by the solenoid, there are two more. Both are single spade, one has a brown wire, and one green.
Over on the distributor, there are these two. One, I have no idea what it's doing, the other looks almost like a ballast resistor?
Does anybody have a wiring diagram for this truck? I cant seem to find one online. Or does anybody happen to know what they are all for?
The one by the distributor is the Spout connector. When setting the timing, this is disconnected so the computer is not in control.
As I read it, the SPOUT is the rounded connector, correct? Do you know what the squared one is for? Have a Chilton and a Haynes book on the way just in case, but it'll be a few days and just trying to figure out what I can. I would have thought the SPOUT was the squared one also pictured by the distributor. I can't find any mate to it though. (First picture)

The SPOUT is the rounded one in the last photograph.
Do you have a tach in the dash?
Could that square one be for that?

No, mine doesn't. From what I read that wire is already in the dash. I saw one picture that showed that single wire connector being connected to an otherwise identical one with 2 wires.. but I cant find anything. And the poster didn't mention anything about it.
