v3.8 is shown as the latest version on my Ford owner's page for my 2015 truck. It was dated 20 Oct 2015 for this version.
That's what gets me though. My truck is a '15 but says it's up to date with V3.7 and was updated in May 21, 2015. So why is it saying it's up to date if V3.8 is out?
I was having Bluetooth issues and my dealer updated for me.

ABOUT THE LATEST UPDATE
The new software update for SYNC® with MyFord Touch® systems includes all the improvements from previous updates, plus additional changes to accommodate new and updated customer devices, such as:
Hazard switch illuminates on Focus / Escape with ignition off and park lamps on
Next Track / Previous Track controls from SYNC touchscreen
SYNC Maintaining Repeat / Shuffle settings that were set on the device side
Compatibility updates for the latest phone and media devices
The installation of this update will take up to 30 minutes to complete.
Be sure to keep your engine running (not in accessory mode) throughout the entire installation process. Turning off your vehicle during the update installation will disrupt the process. Although your vehicle must be in park when you begin the installation process, you may drive your vehicle while the update is downloading to your SYNC® system.
If your vehicle is equipped with the Intelligent Access with Push Button Start feature, you will need to temporarily disable the Automatic Engine Idle Shutdown (AEIS) component before beginning the installation in order to prevent your vehicle from timing out and shutting off the engine before the software update is complete. To disable this feature, use your steering wheel controls to navigate to the Settings menu on your left-hand Instrument Cluster LCD display. From there, select Vehicle >Auto Engine Off >Off. (If you do not see this setting, there is no need to make any changes before starting the update.)
Alternatively, after initiating the installation, you may drive the vehicle during the update process to avoid shutting off the engine. The next time you start your vehicle, the AEIS will automatically reset to "On."
Please note: During the update installation, SYNC® will temporarily appear to not recognize your mobile phone or media device. This is normal. Once your system has been successfully updated, SYNC® will display a notification stating "Installation complete."
Well my backup camera started working again. Still gonna talk to the dealer and see if they can update it for me. Is it something they do under recall or warranty? Or would I have to pay for it?
I am just over my 36K but I do have an ESP but I think it has a $100 deductible. I think it's a 7yr 100K bumper to bumper but I'm gonna have to look into it cause they kinda pulled one over on me with my maintenance plan saying it covers all maintenance when in actuality it only covers oil changes, rotations and batteries.
Yes, an ESP is a service plan not to be confused with a maintenance plan. ESP is for all practical purposes an extension of the 3yr/36000 warranty, plans do vary as to what is covered. Maintenance plan is as you stated. Covers the oil, filters, rotations, wipers, etc. also with variations of coverage, dino verses full synthetic oil.
The main thing that irritated me was the fact that my maintenance plan doesn't cover the fuel filters. I would assume it would cover that. Also I found out that the maintenance plan is offered by my dealership and not Ford. I tried using the dealership in my home town which is a part of the Performance Ford group of dealerships but I bought my truck at another performance Ford at their dealership an hour away and my hometown Ford dealership wouldn't honor the maintenance plan.

That is why it doesn't cover the fuel filters if offered by dealer. Did you get a copy of the plan in writing? Did you scan it or call the contact number about fuel filter?
