Not quite. The Bosch is just a factory style pump. The others have some sort of upgrade in them to take them 1 step above stock. Stage 2 another step up beyond that.
I have replaced all the sensors and hookups to ensure there are no shorts or faulty sensors the ipr, cps, ICP, idm and injector harness the icp says it only reads 31psi when cranking the batteries and alternator are new and the oil pressure needle dose not move and there is oil around the outside of the hpop
Ok, a couple of questions for diagnostic's sake. I have been through this to the nth degree, so believe me when I say it sucks.
1) Have you tested low oil pressure when cranking?
2) Is the oil full? I know, dumb sounding, but I have made this mistake when I had bad injector o-rings and didn't know it.
3) Which pressure is reading 31 psi on cranking? LPOP or HPOP?
You need to see if you have oil pressure on the low side. If your HPOP is dead and you are using a scan tool, it will usually go to 250ish and then default to 3000. A real easy test would be to remove a line or plug on the rail, crank it and see if oil shoots out forcefully. This is if you don't have a gauge. Don't crank long. You'll have a huge mess.

the ICP is reading 31psi while cranking and the oil is full there is oil in the reservoir and it ran fine then just shut down with an ICP failure and low injector pressure code and I'm using my edge cts2 monitor to get my reading

Ah ok...just to be sure, maybe pop a plug and make 100% sure? But I am guessing you are right in that the HPOP is done. Did you replace all sensors with Motorcraft? That part is very important.

I don't know the specifics, but I am leaning toward the CNC Fabrication HPOP if/when I need to replace mine. I was on the T500 boat until recently, but would not be able to deal with long periods of downtime if that is what it came down to.
I am guessing the more aggressive the angle of the swash plate means that the pump is capable of pushing more oil? Although, the stock 19* is more than capable for most of us?
I would like to know what they do to the adrenaline and honey badger high pressure oil pumps to justify marking them up to that price
Can't comment on the Honey Badger, but Bob Riley likes to make, or have made many of his own parts, some of which others would argue don't need to be upgraded and could be re-used. His thinking is, build it right and don't worry about failures. Some of those extra parts he builds new are used in other rebuilds and are fine 95% - 99% of the time, but Dieselsite seems to try and focus on attaining 100%. That's not a bad line of thinking, but it does come with a price.
Honey Badger came along after I stopped paying as much attention to these types of things. I put a T500 in the wife's truck. I helped a buddy diagnose a bad T500 in his truck and emailed Joey with all the data to get it straightened out. He took care of it quickly, but it was still an issue. Truck still ran and drove fine, just didn't have the power it was supposed to on the first go around.
