Looking for a headlight thread on replacement lights off the shelf.
Want something a little whiter and brighter. Anyone tried anything.
Tried the search but no luck.
Thanks.
I don’t know about headlights but I tried “off the shelf” for fogs and the light pattern was terrible. Went back to Headlight Revolution and could not be happier.
They are a bit more money but many folks are running these here on the forum and from what I can tell all are happy with the results.
+1 for the Silverstar Ultras. I put those in my BMW X5 to replace the crappy OE "yellow" halogens. Pure white light, and looks much better paired to the xenons.
Don’t waste your time or money on that Silverstar junk. You will be dissatisfied. Buy some led conversion kits. You don’t need to spend $200 either. There are good replacements available on eBay and Amazon. Typically $40 a set on average, and you will need two sets. Plus shipping is usually free and arrives in a few days. Personally I have 72,00 miles. Therefore, I have put my led conversion kits to the test with more running time this year alone than most will have over the next few years. Good luck buddy!
Are both bulbs per side H13? Top and bottom low and high? Just curious, as I have the LED package already but on my old truck I used PIAA Extreme, whiter, brighter, they lasted pretty good considering... I had one bulb go after about 5 years.
