a lot depends on what you are going to do with it i.e. Show, off road, cruiser or just a Daily driver. What are your visions of what you want. Big lift, slight lift, big tires etc. What motor and transmission do you have. The answers should help folks give you some ideas. Sandy

Stick or auto?
35's are good sized with stock gears or motor.

Just get something that comes in a complete kit; shocks, brackets, springs, etc. You get what you pay for too, but all the kits, even the affordable ones, are better than stock stuff.

oh, and you'll need (infinity):1 gear swap with 35+ " tires and a 5.0.

You are going to need a lot of gear to work with a 5L engine and 35" tires.

Even with stock tires many recommend at least 4.10s. You have some lofty goals. I hope your wallet starts off thick.

My advice would be go with a 4 inch lift, if your set on lifting, and to stick with 33 inch or smaller with a 302 and switch to 4.10 or better gearing. The 5.0 is great, but is really lacking in the low end power department. I have 3.73 gears and 31s and can't imagine continuing to drive the truck with much worse than this.
