I have a 1996 F150 2wd truck and I currently have p235x75R15 on it and I want to put at least a 32" BFG's on it or maybe some 33" BFG's. Could i fit the 32's on with no lift at all or would i need at least some lift in the front like maybe leveling coils so i could fit 32's? I was thinking of maybe a 4" pro-comp lift but would that be too much lift for those size of tires? What size of lift do ya'll recomend if needed and what manufacturer aswell?
Don't waste your money on a lift for a 2wd. Get a 4wd and then lift. You will be much happier and will save money in the long run. Besides, people tend to laugh at 2wd's with lifts.
I did not mean for that to sound rude. It is just that I have gone down the same road. I had a 2wd truck and put a lift on it and bigger tires and found that it got stuck just as easily before. If you just want it for looks, then go for it. If you want to offroad go with the 4wd. On a 2wd I would not waste money on a suspension lift. Spend about $70 and get a body lift. It will let you clear some larger tires and will not alter your factory ride.
I don't think that you need to keep a two wheel on the ground, but you have to remember that it's not a 4 wheel. I'm keeping my 2wheel, but I'm gonna go for some severe suspension travel. I won't be rock crawling, but I'll be gettin some serious air. I'm not talking about getting the $500 4 inch lift from some company that gives me drop brackets and cheesy coils. I'm getting extended radius arms, cromoly (spell?) I beams, etc... the whole 9.
I'll be able to haul @$$ in the dirt and on the street, while not worrying about killing a front diff or blowing hubs. don't straight dis the 2wheelers, aye...they got stuff goin for them too.

To fit 32/33 inch tires you will need a 4" lift. I have the ProComp Stage-2 6" kit and can attest to it's quality. If you're mainly going for looks, just get the Stage-1 kit, but if you plan to do more off-roading than a dusty fire road I'd recomend the Stage-2.
As for just getting a body lift, I personally don't like them due to the fact that there's so many other things that you may have to adjust/modify (fuel filler hose, brake lines, bumper height, etc. etc. etc.) Yes, they are cheaper but to me they're more headache than they're worth and offer no real improvement when it comes to performance.
