I know this thread is a few years old but I figured I would still ask. @bushpilot does your truck have the pre crash sensor I think it is called to right of the lightbar? I am thinking about getting the same light bar and wanted to make sure it was going to fit in the limited space available in the lower bumper.
its a platinum trim level truck - its fully loaded, including collision warning & proximity cruse control - the light bar & mount do not interfere w/ the operation of the proximity cruise control (or any other feature).

Thankyou. I am going to be ordering that light bar shortly!
I drilled the plastic rivets out & installed a zRoadz bracket and 13 inch light bar.
Can you get it inspected in Texas without a front plate? I was stopped once (maybe 20 years ago?) for not having a front plate on my Bronco. Got a warning only. I put the plate and bracket back on after I found where it had drug off when I backed out of a hole on a right-of-way.
I don't like the looks of the front plate but I'll be leaving mine on as the state requires it and I'd rather not give random opportunities to bored officers to pull me over.

Front license plates are not part of the inspection and are not require to pass....none of our vehicles has a front tag, and I haven't run a front tag on any of our vehicles in more than 30 years.
I've been ticketed once (warned 3 times) in 30 years....the one ticket (about 6 yrs ago) cost me $10 (temporary) fixed and showed the officer....otherwise it would have been $40 (total).
every time I conclude to the officer that the tag "must have fallen off"
