Advanced Security Pack / cell phone start question.
Wondering if there is a way to tell if my 2017 F250 Lariat already has the base security part needed for cell phone car starter? In the dash it asks me if I want full sensors or just perimeter sensors. The window sticker says Advanced Security Pack. Anybody know if this is different than the one needed for the phone start?

Your truck does not have the parts needed for cellular connectivity, none of them do. Full sensors means to use both the door and ultrasonic sensors (they detect movement within the cab), whereas perimeter only is just the doors.

You need the 15-16 Ford F150 perimeter Alarm with Smart Phone RemoteStart Access Plug-n-Play. Activate the sim. Pay for the annual subscription, then you will download the Ford Remote Access App. Got mine from banner automotive. There are several threads on the forum.
