as cold weather approaches

opti lube winter grade is one product, but 5% plain old kerosene also works.

I didn't think about that soon enough. I just bought two red tops from Ford. Is the black top from Ford anygood? I used to use Power Service, and use Syandane when I am in a pinch.

I use optilube XPD year round, never any issues.

It's kinda odd. The Ford red top says 4oz for 25 gallons and the Standyne treatment says 8oz for 30 gallons. Wonder what the differences are?
