Best year's high pressure oil lines (hpop to galley)
Best year's high pressure oil lines (hpop to galley)
So I've been looking at high pressure oil crossover lines and there are generally ones for OBS and SD trucks (mine is a 97 OBS). From looking at my truck and pictures online it appears that they have used different ports on the high pressure galley over the years and I'm wondering what year had the best setup (especially once a hpx is installed). It doesn't look like any of the stock lines would interfere if I converted and it seems like it would just be a matter of moving plugs around and installing new lines.
So the question is, does anyone have experience with which combo of galley ports and crossover ports is going to give the best results (essentially the most stable oil pressure for the injectors).

I don't think it really matters which ports you use, the results will be the same. In fact, the benefits of the HPX line have been the subject of some debate, so I think your results will be negligible at best. That's my opinion, nothing more.
On the crossover it doesn't really matter which plugs you use. I did the Riffraff product and had to move the drivers side HP line to fit the crossover in. It is a solid piece and not flexible. Overall a better idle as proven by me ear, coffee cup and with a scanner the ICP pressure not bouncing around as much. So it did help some but really nothing major off idle noticed.
