Blowing Blue smoke and rough running

When I’m cruising at 70mh very light smoke but going down hill I get a lot of smoke, when at idle I get a lot of smoke and if I run it up to 1200rpm it will cover any car next to me,
I had some one put a gage on it and it showed injector 2 was not working and he said the smoke is from the bad injector and it’s unburied diesel?
Any one know if a bad injector would do this?
PS. He thinks the injector lost the tip.

The first thing you need to do is not drive it until you figure it out. If it is a bad injector that lost its tip you risk burning a hole in your piston.

You need to run a bubble test immediately google its on YouTube.

I’ve already drove it back home (about 275mi, I hope it did not do more damage ),
I’ll pull the injector and see if the tip is still there.

Thank you

The tip was not missing in mine. You had to look very closely to see the crack, but it ran the whole length of the tip.

Glad to hear the tip of your injector was not gone I still have to do the bubble test I’m not sure what the bubble test shows or what does that prove one where the other I’m not sure what the bubble test supposed to do but I’m going to run it any, anybody wants to chime in on that it would be great thank you very much.
