i can put twelve volts to the gauge and it will go from empty to full
but then when i try and run it threw an old ford sending unit i have it don't seen to wanna work threw a instrument cluster voltage reducer from a 76 f350 cluster at twelve volts or 6
I think that you are in first place here in terms of time taken to gather up some truck parts, put them together and drive the truck around.
You will have to make a YouTube video then post the link here.
UPDATE : so I’ve been very busy in the last year with working 2 jobs. And haven’t had much time to work on the beast.
But this last week I had a few days off and a long weekend so I went ***** to the wall
got the motor fired up after sitting for over a year.
redid a bunch of electrical
did some wiring to accommodate dual filament bulbs so I can have running lights and turn signals in the side marker lights.
Wired in the head lights.
And all the switches still work from the f 350 so I have hi low beam, running light, fog lights, 4 ways and turn signals all working on the front end all threw the factory 46 merc lenses.
