Back to basics
I was organizing some pictures tonight and came across the pictures from the day I got my '02 Ex. I thought I'd share them here. Boy has it changed...
From the Autotrader ad:
Shortly after. Yes, it came with all that beautiful writing in white shoe polish on the back windows:
Yes, I had to fix the missing piece in the grill.

Love the cab/clearance lights. Have been wanting to do this myself. Is the wiring harness tucked in above the headliner or did you have to purchase one separately and do the wiring yourself? If the latter, how difficult was it to do, and where did you splice it into? Thanks.

No, the harness isn't there. You have to buy the harness from the dealer, or go find one at a junkyard. IMO, it's worth the extra coin to get it brand new and not have to take stuff all apart at a truck in the yard. It's the harness for the Super Duty trucks.
Once you have it ran up above the headliner, it just runs down the left A pillar. Remove that plastic trim and it just snaps right in. Then run it down farther to the headlight switch. I soldered it in right by that switch. You'll have to cut the plug off that comes on the end of the harness, because the Excursions don't have the option at all and don't have the matching plug.
