I have a problem with my 2008 F350 Diesel which has been DPF Deleted and Spartan Tuned which may or may not be important with the following issue. The picture I have uploaded with this post explains my issue way better than I can say here, although the picture doesn'treally help with location on the Truck, so its Passenger side underneath the front of cab, close to the Firewall.
My initial thoughts are that I need a new Exhaust Back Pressure Sensor [EBP] but having watched a few videos on Youtube, the location seems a little different to where i have exhaust gases comes from. Does a DPF Delete and Spartan tune change some of this stuff up?
Any help very much appreciated. I'm hoping to get this fixed this weekend, but I don't know what to buy !
Does exhaust come out if that hole? Could be a O2 sensor just a guess. You could go to orielly and get a book for your truck. They can order it for you
All sensors must be in place regardless. By that I mean connected to the harness and wire tied away from the exhaust, otherwise your going to see a high idle issue and DTC's.
The location doesn't seem right because the tube that was chopped off is missing where the sensor was located.
