I have a 2014 F150 3.5L eco-boost purchased in March of 2015. While on vacation driving through Denver on I 70 this September the throttle body malfunctioned. This is the third throttle body on the truck in 2.5 yrs. Anyone else had this problem? What would you ask Ford to do?
Thanks
Just happened to me with my 2013 ecoboost. I only have 28K miles on it.
Just pulled out of my driveway down it went got it to the ford dealers the next morning and it turns out to be the throttle body.
Service manager said it is not covered by warranty. He was surprised it is not covered but said he would do further research. I trust what he says as he is a friend.
I will contact Ford on the owners site and see what they have to say.
The truck has been very good up to this but it could have been an accident if I had not been able to pull off the road, my wife was not happy as it was not level.
