No RDS on FM?

No RDS on FM?
I only listen to FM for a short time on weekday mornings for the Bob & Tom Show. I notice that there is no RDS information. It shows the station's number. Period. No station call letters, program, artist or song info.
Settings don't seem to have a spot to address this. It's an XLT with premium package/SYNC 3.0./navigation.
I'm sure it's a bottom tier stereo. But I thought this was a pretty common thing in this day & age.

I've scrolled through some stations that I know had it on aftermarket units that I've had. Doesn't seem to happen to any of them now.
