An IDI turbo flexplate is supposedly either F3TZ-6375-A OR 1816637C1. However, a picture posted on this forum shows those part numbers as two very different parts. Does anyone have a guaranteed correct picture of an IDI turbo flex plate?
From the discussions I have read, I expect a typical, one piece, sheet steel, with balance weight, a ring gear, and a spacer to take up the space previously occupied by the iron flywheel.
The first one is a ford part number for 93, the second one i dont believe to be a ford number. I have a NA flexplate from a 7.3 for a C6, think it would be the same looks wise if that helps, i can shoot of picture of it if needed.
I have been unable to get balance specs.
If I had a sample I could get it copied. Anyone willing to part with one for a while?
Does anyone have a spacer part number?
However, my preferred copy would have the spacer carved into the billet.
