Ford Turbo Model Number
I am looking for what the model number is on the factory Garret Turbos that were installed on the IDI 7.3l Diesels in ford trucks. And if any one can tell me were these might be sold individually as reman or new.

I asked the same thing about the model number awhile back and nobody was able to tell me for certain.
Whenever I get my '94 IDI turbo, I'll be pulling the turbo anyway so I plan to check it out and see exactly what turbo it is.

Well, according to this Ford factory "guide" to the 7.3 IDI Turbo that I looked at online just a little bit ago, it is a T3 turbo. That surprises me.

I found my spare ATS this evening.
The only number cast in the compressor housing say M43 and an AR of .70.
It also has Garrett and ATS cast into the compressor housing.
There is also an ATS ID plate, but it just has a serial number as far as I could see.
The exhaust side has no numbers cast into it or stamped in it at all.

It is a TO4H. That is what a turbo shop with years of experience told me wen I got parts to rebuild mine. They ran the numbers on the stock ford unit and fed me that info back.
There's no such thing as a TO4H. Closest thing is a TD04H and that's a Mitsubishi turbo.
