Where to install coolant temp sensor?

There are two openings for coolant sensors on the 7.3L. Manual transmission trucks use both of them - one for the gauge on the dash, and one for the PCM. The second opening for the sensor would be toward the passenger side from the sensor for the dash.
Maybe somebody has a picture or diagram, I just saw it on the engine without taking a picture.
