Headlights quit

Both my HL quit working. I would guess bulb but both went at the same time. As well as having running lights. What/where should I look for first?

Check fuses, then bulbs (even though they both went at the same time). If fuses and bulbs are good, break out the volt meter and check for 12v at the headlight plugs. If no power, check the switch

On your 99 you not only have the fuse panel under the dash but one at the top back corner under the hood on the drivers side. Check those too.
If you dont have the layout for the fuses let me know and i will scan my owners manual pages for the fuses.

I did that in the '86 Ford in the late 80's. Nice toggle switch, too

Glad you found it!
