Going by myself and I am driving non stop.

They will not let anyone else do the transmission jobs but me and Scott. We always do them under time and with no problems later on. But they are a ton of work. We each have certain things we do on the truck and it all works out great.

I made it in about 10 hours. Very heartbreaking to see my father in this condition. I’m not really sure he knows that I’m even here. A roller coaster of emotions right now.

Made it home in about 10 1/2 hours. It was 70 degrees and raining when I left this morning, it was 39 and overcast when I pulled in the driveway. Not so sure if he even really knew I was there. I spent as much time as I could with him, told him I loved him and can only hope he can pull thru.

Oh man it's Monday already. It was a long and emotional weekend. I took a 2 hours nap after getting home, I was exhausted.

I think we have another transmission job lined up for this week.

Wow, everybodies traveling. That exciting. This cool weather makes me happy. Finally got my truck started after two months of on and off troubleshooting. A friend came over and looked at it and found out my new plugs were fouled up. Also, from constantly starting I have gas in my expensive breakin oil Long story short, got to change the oil and get new additive. Anybody else working on something now that the weather isn't cooking us? Also anyone know what a reasonable price for a trak-lock 9" rear end should cost?

Ended up putting a thumb on an excavator yesterday and will start the transmission job today.

We have a new guy at the shop and he had a bad week last week. Last Monday morning I ran into his tool box with the fork lift and put a small dent in his tool box. Thursday last week he fell into the mud pit and was covered in mud up to his waist. Friday he was pulling an excavator into the wash rack, He had the boom up and smashed in about 6 feet of the roof with the boom.

Alex I wanted to work on the 79 but went to visit my father in Florida who is in the hospital.
