Speaking of little man he has a new trick, he can crawl out of his crib now. The wife woke up and found him walking around our room this morning. That boy is going to be a handful.
To see how much you will walk on board. Go to the Carnival website look up you ship deck plans. There is no smoking in cabins or balconies. The smoking area will be the casino or somewhere around the pool deck one side only. You also want to find the main dinning room, the buffett, any other restaurants, the hot tubs, the bars, the theaters, the gang plank and guest services. How far is your cabin from the elevator? How far is the elevator from where you want to go? Now double that everytime you want to go there. Do not forget the walking on and off the ship and walking on any excusions.

overall we had a good time.

Grand Suite room U88 on deck 6. https://www.icruise.com/cabins/carni...cabin-U88.html. I would guess it's about 5 rooms either way to an elevator. I only need a few smokes in the morning with my coffee then I can hold out till we get to a pool or something. I will probibly be chasing little man most of the time anyway so not a big deal for me.

you will have to go somewhere to get coffee unless you have a coffee maker in room. Then to the smoking area. The industry standard fine if you get caught smoking on the balcony is 250. If you take a stroller take the smallest one possible. The other guest will appreciate it in the elevator.
we had a couple next to us one of their kids threw tantrums the first couple of days. Lexie heard a loud smack kid did not throw another tantrum the rest of the cruise. Just proving a pop on the add works.

booked our next cruise 10/7/18 On Allure of the Seas. Junior Suite

That's a huge ship too. If the family likes this cruise we might try a longer one to Mexico later on. I am not going to take the huge stroller we took to Disney, taking a small fold up one we have. Until little man gets a little older I will spend most of my time keeping him occupied and out of trouble. Our daughters new boyfriend my go with us on this cruise. He is in the Army and so far turns out to be the best one she has had so far.

Took the day off to go with the wife to a DR's appointment.

She is fine. Her jaw has been hurting and she found a lump in her throat. She freaks out because her mom had throat cancer 20 years ago and her father died from cancer about 6 years ago. I knew she was fine but she wanted me to go with her anyway. The DR looked into her throat and gave her meds for acid re flux which seems to be the main problem. We went to Ihop after the appointment, I said we were celebrating her beating cancer... again.

I finally stopped water from getting into the basement. Even after all the rain yesterday it is completely dry!

All 5 in one cabin or did yall get tgem a second cabin?
i think Carnival has a rule that if one person over 21 buys a drink package everyone must buy the drink package. Figure about 6 bucks for beer and about 12 for mixed.

if you did not prepay gratuities that is at 13.50/person/day. All charges are added to you seapass card or what ever they call it. Unless you do the 500 cash deposit. They do one easy payment last day of the cruise to the card on file.

they UPSALE everything. If you get all most anything 18% gratuity is added then there is a line for aditional tip. One of the few places is the duty free shops. I checked the price of Pall mall a carton was 24.00 The photo package will be a couple hundred

One cabin. We are not big drinkers so we are not getting the package. If he wants to drink then he will pay out of pocket. The mandatory gratuities is a rip off in my opinion. We are not doing the formal night or picture package.

It sure is cold this morning. It went from summer to winter quickly. Transmission is in and the truck is about ready to ship out this morning. They said there are 3 more to do the transmission upgrade on.

The daily gratuities go to your cabin attendant and wait staff. The 18% on bar purchases and other services is per order, then there is a line for additional tip.
The gratuities are actually part of their pay package. All their contracts are for 7 to 9 months, no full days off. The cabin attendant works a split shift and is on call.
If boyfriend is not 21 no acholol.
We booked another 7 day while on board. Oct next year, Ft Lauderdale, Nassau, Cozemel, Costa Maya, Rotan. Only 2 sea days.

You should have the transmissions jobs down pat now.
it 43 down here but should get back to 70. This weekend will be cold and wet.

Wow, looks like folks have all kind of excitement going on! What’s everybody been wrenching on truck wise? I feel like my truck is a money pit lol. I almost have my custom shroud put together but my battery quit. So 100 dollars later I have juice but no turn over I don’t know if it’s a carb, timing or maybe spark problem.

Heading out first thing in the morning and going to visit my father in the hospital in Florida. It's going to be about a 10 hour or so drive. Staying the weekend so I won't be on here for a few days.

Hey Alex, No work on any trucks lately. I never seem to get around to it.
