Yes they are Don. I think I might start making my own bacon soon. I have to track down a good source for pork bellies.

Sounds like to much work.. Just go buy bacon and cook..

Not too bad to do it Don. My brother just made a test batch. Only took 7 days and 3.5 hours. & days in the salt rub and then 3.5 hours in the smoker.

Still to long.. I can go buy it at the store and be eating in under an hour...
Even less time if I plan and buy beforehand...LOL
