Here it is October already. Turn the A/C off and change the furnace filter, Halloween will be here before we know it. Put your spooky face on and go collect some loot. With no further ado, post away. :)

Hope we have a warm October like last year.

Was 50° this morning but recovered nice to 77°.

Still no rain.

It's pouring down up here since yesterday..

Its so dry here the grass is being pinched out of the ground.

I'm surprised with all the rain we have had here this year the grass isn't growing..

The decreased sunlight triggers plant life to stop growing. Won't be long and we'll be raking leaves.

I've only mowed my lawn about 4 times this year and a lot of it didn't really need it. There was only a short time in August where it turned a little brown..leaves are starting to fall here but I have no trees in my yard but do get the leaves from the neighboring yards..
