Patty had the house A/C on Sunday, the humidity was so bad that it came into the house.

We've been putting the furnace on in the mornings but didn't have to today and tonight is only supposed to drop to 50°

The guys I know that go south have been doing it for 40 years, I've never done it once...

Don't feel like the Lone Stranger. I could be in Orlando Florida in 21 hours and have never done it. I have never had a snowless Winter in the damned near 70 years that I've been here.
