I have a 351w with electronic ignition and i want to put it into my 1970 f100 does anyone know how to wire the duraspark 1 ignition into a 70 truck? (the duraspark ignition I have is off of a 1979 so i am not sure whether it is a 1 or a 2)
This may be of assistance.
Fairly simple swap since you have a dizzy, wiring harness and module already. Just need to hook up two power wires, well one if you do not want to use the timing retard on startup function
Two power wires one will have 13.5 volts, the other will be steped down. Full voltage for the start circuit and dropped voltage for the run. Find out which one go where buy doing a voltage check on the wires to the module on the donor car

Actually both wires, usually red and white from factory, are the full voltage. They are the power supply to the ignition module. White wire has 12 volts with the ignition key in the "start" position and red wire has 12 volts in the "run" position.
The white wire is used to tell the module to retard the timing for easier starts and the red wire is the normal power during engine running.
The resistance wire feeds the coil directly, drops the voltage to something like 9volts or so during "run". I seem too remember it is to extend the life of the coil.
