Thought I would post a few pics of my progress on my 62 F100 Flare side. Many thanks to those on this site that answered questions to help.
Rear suspension changed out to a 1997 Ford Explorer 8.8" with disc brakes. Installed a 4-link rear suspension with air bags and a Mustang II IFS with air bags for the front. Converted to a power steering and power disc brakes front and back. Moved the gas tank to the rear under the frame. Installed the engine, 302 CID, 350 hp, and a C4 Street Performance trans.
Working the bed wood now after fitting the assy to the frame three different times before it was right. Now disassembled and varnishing the wood.
Next up, primer and painting the bed and fenders. Primer and paint the doors then start working on the cab. Blasting, bodywork, primer and paint before reinstall of the glass and reassembly.
