I bought the truck back in October. It ran pretty good but the paint was rough, the wood bed was ptywood and a metal plate, there was rust in the bottom corners and pitting up around the drip rail. So far, I've took down to the frame and cab, painted the frame and cab, dropped the front 3" the rear 4", disk brakes, power steering, dropped a built chevy 350 and auto trans.
I would like for it to look very close to this one when I'm completed. I'm down to painting front body and bed. Installing them and wood for bed and she will be back on the road. I think it will take up to May to complete.
NICE! And welcome to the madness. You'll probably get some grumblings over the CSB from the bluebloods, but they get over it... eventually. Mine wears a bowtie as well.

Nah, we don't get over it. We keep talking about you behind your back.
Here's a pic of the motor to took this morning. You know how it goes, you work on them for hours but you never have a phone nearby for pictures. I will take more tonight. Thanks guys for the comments.
Thanks emay. I wasn't sure how it would look at first but the more I add, the more I like. All black with some big 20" chrome wheels is what I think I'm going for. Everyone has said the same thing. Mean looking.
