we will build the old frame out for proper fit. we thought this swap a bit crazy when we started out but things are working out well so far. the best thing is front disc brakes, the motor sits right in the mounts since they came together. we are starting on swaping the rear in next that will give me rear disc brakes. we hope to use the abs system but will have to play with some things. if you have any thoughts or questions please feel free to ask.
thanks, yeah i researched this for awhile and never found any others. but hey its fun to try things. the main reason i attempted this was the aftermarket options for the motor wheels etc. plus it just sounded cool. it will take a little more fab work then a crown vic swap, but i already had the gt so it was cheaper....i only had about $200 in the car. i plan on adding an automatic tranny, 20's, turbo etc.
i already have a rollpan most of the interior stuff, ppg gloss black paint now i just need some time to sandblast the whole thing and finish the bodywork, the filler neck has been filled, door locks shaved, ant. hole filled you get the idea.
