I purchased a 1976 F-100 Custom the previous owner put ford ranger bucket seats in it, with a center console. I like the bucket seats, but don't like how the ranger seat look in the truck. they sit to high for me and my legs are to close to the steering wheel. I like the bucket seats or even would do a split bench seat. I was wondering what everyone is using? Want to start looking for new seats and want to know what to look for at the pick and pull. I'm seriously leaning towards a set of CVPI buckets.

 

I got the corbeau wide suspension buckets on the frame that JBG sells. Love them, though getting in and out is a little more of a chore due to the high side bolsters.

 

Modify the mounts to lower the position?

Go to the pick and pull and sit in seats, see what you like. Unless it's from a 73-97 full size ford truck, it will probably need custom mounts.

 

Are they the lowback buckets from the early ranger gt? Get a set of mounts from copperstate and bolt your seats to them.
