Cab size

Hi Guys,
I'm totally new to trucks. I'm on the hunt for a late 30's P/U to hotrod. I'm seeing lots of 3/4 ton trucks for sale but no 1/2 ton. Are the bodies, cab and fenders the same size or is the 3/4 ton larger? I don't really care about the frame or drive line.
Thanks

Cabs are almost always basically the same, even on the bigger trucks. The bed will be longer on the pickups bigger than 1/2 ton and usually the rear fenders will be different too. Some years the pickups larger than 1/2 ton use the bigger truck cutout in the front fenders. 40 and 41 use a completely different front end than the light pickups.
