Why cant I find FREE online rebuild instructions for my e4od. My truck is 26 years old. A "91" and has 420,000 and still going miles on it. I started the rebuild all i have is a stupid schematic to work off of. Its been helpful up to the point where I put the first set of frictions and steels in. Going by the diagram it shows 6 of each. I pack them into the case and I'm TOO THICK. for the snap ring that locks them into the case. I took out one of each and PRESTO. THE snap ring goes in perfectly with no slop in the output shaft. IS THIS OK. CAN i press forward. Or is that the beginning of my next transmission nightmare. Can somebody call me and save me a week worth of typing and waiting. Or just hmu on facebook. I dont want to break any rules here but I'm getting REEEAAL PISSED OFF at the whole NO FREE INFO TO READ ON LINE. I Gotta get this finished ASAP. I'm missing out on a ton of work in ROCKPORT. Since hurticane harvey. And I dont have another dime to spend on this improperly rebuilt no magnet in the pan shady business that rebuilt the trans before i bought it. Sorry excuse for mechanics if you ask me. I been fixing my own since highschool. I will never pay a mechanic to work on my truck. Anybody got any suggestions or info links i can check out. THANKS

Ford didn't put a magnet in the pan either.
