fuel shutoff

1996 F-250 7.3 diesel, duel tanks. Rear tank shuts off fuel after about 11 gallons of use. Front tank OK. What do I check? Thank you.

If you would have said 14-15 gallons then I would say the 'shower head' fell off the pickup tube. That's a common thing. Eleven gallons IDK.

A rotted out fuel pick up tube could also be culprit, remove the fuel tank to see whats going on.
