Fuel foaming

I remember reading something a while back about a solution to help eliminate fuel foaming during during fill ups. It gets pretty frustrating when your on the road pulling....you need every gallon you can get. Does anyone know where to find this info? Many Thanks

I think you might mean "harpooning" the tank. Shortening the filler vent tube in the tank allows a faster top off and some added fuel in the tank. I read as much as 4 or 5 gal . Search harpoon, or harpooning
