Door "stuff"

Yes sir have the tool. It helped some. I used it to compress the bezel behind the window crank downward several times, must have cleared some debris under the crank. But the tool did not remove/push the clip out. But it made more room. Used a pair of electric pilers with plastic coating. Turned them upside down and pressed down on the bezel from two sides. Then Used a metal dentist tooth pic to fish out the c clip far enough to pull it out.
Took about two minutes to get the window crank off. Big fingers you know. The door latch is another case, as the wire clip is mashed up pretty bad, so no easy corner to grab. More time required for that. About the tool. I don't thing it is the right one for 1953 truck cab. In the service manual (for a 1953 truck) there is a tool with three prongs in a photo. Looks different then the tool I was able to find at parts store or the Internet.
If anyone has the proper 1953 tool and uses it successfully I would like to hear your story. Sorry GoldCo didn't mean to run away with your thread, but maybe you will find this of some help if you have to take another door apart. Thanks
