So I'm looking at getting a 2017 F250, but because of what I want (It's my first ever new vehicle so I'm getting EXACTLY what I want and not settling) I'm probably going to have to custom order one. I have a local dealer searching but he's having no luck because of my option choices.
Now the important question is prices. I see lots of people in my searches talking about x plan and invoice, but not so much D plan pricing. My father in law is a mechanic at a Ford dealership so we qualify for it.
Since D is so similiar to A, would I likely be able to negotiate a lower price, or just get a pin from my father in law and go that route? I know lots of people say you can negotiate to X or better.

my fathers brother owns the dealer and I don't qualify for D plan
That would be because you aren't considered immediate family by Ford. Siblings qualify (your father) but it doesn't say nieces or nephews (you)
I know why but that says your wife is the one that qualifies not you, my fathers step sister has to jump thru hoops to prove she is related every time they buy

Everything I'm finding says in-laws are eligible. If I have to provide a marriage license to prove I'm married to his daughter to save a ton, that's worth it to me
