I don't know what incentives they're currently offering (you can get that from the Ford website, fordvehicles.com), but factory incentives have nothing to do with what you pay for the vehicle. Make your best deal, then pick between the rebate or the low rate. Don't let a dealer tel you that you can't negotiate because they're offering zero percent. BTW, there's usually a pretty hefty rebate on the Focus- I'll bet you'd be better off to take the rebate instead of the zero percent. If the rebate's $1,000, then that's a thousand less you have to borrow. The rule of thumb used to be that unless you're financing $30,000 or more, take the rebate and shop local banks/ credit unions for a good rate. Just compare them both and don't buy a Focus thinking the only good deal is zero percent, because it probably isn't.

Don't know if this would hold true or not but, a salesman told my son recently that over the next few months, deals on the Focus could get better and better. Ford is going to want to clear them off the losts to make way for the all new 08's
