ohv, sohc, ohc,

Ohv, means over head valve, ohc means over head cam, what does SOHC mean? how is it different, just curious

ohv, sohc, ohc,

That stands for single over head cam; it is the same as OHC. It distinguishes between those two and DOHC, which is double over head cam, thats all. Take care- J.D., KCK
