Question

Staring problem

When I start the engine in my 95 f150 5.L when it is cold it starts right up,but after driving it and heating it up then shutting it off for about fifteen minutes it's harder to start.I have to crank it for at least five seconds.Does anyone have any suggestions. Thank in advance

Check your fuel pressure. Does it leak down after the engine is shut off? Possible leaky injector or regulator.

I had the exact same problem several years back on my previous F150. It turned out to be leaky injectors.

How old are your battery cables? Any signs of corrosion?

I just had a similar issue and it was my starter connections were getting corroded.
