Gents - I've been experiencing some erratic needle positions of the Trans Temp gauge for awhile now. The EGT and Trans Temp needle move whenever the key is turned on and stays in the position shown below before the truck is even started. Up until recently, the Trans Temp would start like this and then eventually go back to normal after some driving (Trans Temp only). Now the Trans Temp stays like this no matter what and the EGT gauge is starting to follow suit. A week ago all gauges functioned properly on a 6 hr drive. Yesterday on that same drive all three gauges were acting up. Is this merely a ground issue? The wires appear to be fully seated into the orange clips that seat into the gauge. Anything else I should be checking? Open to any thoughts.
